Tobin Wingard, PT, DPT, GCS, FDN Cert.,  has been practicing physical therapy for over 30 years since his graduation from the University of Wisconsin Madison in 1989.  He completed his doctorate degree from St. Louis University in 2011 and earned board certification in Geriatrics through the American Physical Therapy Association. During his career he has had many opportunities to educate people of all ages in principles of health, wellness, and establishment of positive, life changing habits. In addition, Wingard has had the unique opportunity to incorporate his passion for music and his expertise as a multi-instrumentalist into both individual and group treatment sessions. 

Wingard has proven his effectiveness over the years to motivate and inspire people with his music. For over 50 years he has been studying the flute and has been influenced by such masters as Jean Pierre Rampal, James Galway, and Hubert Laws. In addition to the flute, Wingard has been an avid student and performer of the harmonica, penny whistle, and various other wind instruments including the Scottish Highland Bagpipes. 

With his extensive background in health, wellness, and training principles as well as the unique ability to communicate through his diverse musical background, Wingard can customize an entertaining and educational age appropriate program, which will be well received by your student population, employee group, corporate colleagues, or church congregation.

Wingard is available for musical performances and presentations including: concerts, school assemblies, banquets, studio recording, private parties, meetings/retreats and seminars

  • September 11th Memorial Celebration at Ivy Tech State College, Bloomington, Indiana (September 2002)

  • Children’s Concert at Agua Viva in Chimaltenango, Guatemala (February 2007)

  • Multiple musical presentations at elementary, junior high and high schools in: Black River Falls, Wisconsin, Lake Forrest, Illinois, Shoals & Bloomington, Indiana, South Beach, Florida, Chicago, Illinois, New York City, NY

  • Performed the Suite for Flute and Jazz Piano at the Pump House in La Crosse, Wisconsin, and the Jack Benny Center for the Performing Arts in Waukegan, Illinois

  • Performed improvisational offerings at the State Capitol Buildings in: Denver, Colorado, Madison, Wisconsin, Indianapolis, Indiana

  • Live recording at the Historic Dome in West Baden, Indiana

  • Released Solo Album in December 2008 entitled Surrendered Breath recorded at  Gaither Studios in Alexandria, Indiana.

  • Released Sophomore Album project in 2011 entitled Celebration produced by Steve Millikan.

  • Performed with the “Threads of Grace” at the Governor’s Prayer Breakfast, February 2014, March  2015,  February 2016, March 2017, February 2018, March 2019
